Due to the crisis in Haiti we have decided to donate proceeds for a few weeks from A Family Matters. However to make this charity drive really work we need to translate our Family-oriented iPhone application into languages other than English. If you can help please read on.

A Family Matters was selected for Apples "What's Hot" list two weeks in a row and was ranked as the #2 application in its category on Apple's iTunes Store. Because of its popularity we have a window of opportunity to raise money for the victims of the Haiti disaster and we want to do whatever we can.

We are looking for volunteers to help us translate the application into other languages, specifically Spanish and Chinese due to the demand we have seen. However other languages would help too such as French, German and Russian, etc.

We have a small budget to compensate you for your time but since this is a charity drive we are hoping we can find volunteers so we can donate more of the proceeds.

The project will consist of translating about 1,000 short English phrases and a few web pages into the other languages. We estimate this will take around 1-2 days per language.

PLEASE NOTE we are not interested in automated language translations. These phrases are family-oriented and read often by young children so we need culturally sensitive translations.
